Sophia Zeilstra and Siena Kinsale used a part of their summer break to help the much needed animals at The Humane Society’s Shelter. These two animal lovers sold avocados in front of Sophia’s home and raised $62.00 which they kindly donated to The Humane Society. In the Photo Donna is receiving the funds from Sophia as Siena looks on. The Shelter animals says “Thank you very much girls for thinking about us”
With generous, and greatly appreciated, donations of time and materials from Cavalier Construction and KC Painting and Pressure Cleaning, The Bahamas Humane Society has been able to have its main wall repaired and painted. It is now time to decorate it!
The National Art Gallery of the Bahamas along with artist Matthew Wildgoose will be hosting a mural painting workshop next week, from Tuesday the 2nd to Saturday the 6th of August.

Ricardo Knowles (Cardo) Art show for Saturday July 16 7pm – 10pm at Van Breugels Charlotte St .The artist has agreed to a 15% donation of the sale from the collection’s signature peice IMEADOW ST INAGUA. The artist was commisioned by the Government of The Bahamas to produce this painting as a replica of a rare limited edtion Bahamian Stamp. The authenticating documentation describing this provenance will be on exhibit on the evening of the auction. It is retail is $14,000 and its miniumum auction bid is $10,800.00
The Bahamas Humane Society encourages all it’s members and the general public to support this event.
Bahamas Humane Society’s Summer Campers on their daily dog walk through Botanic Gardens, this is a daily treat for the adoption dogs they look forward to these walks with the kids.
