To assist those less fortunate and their dogs, the Bahamas Humane Society is providing free distemper vaccines at two clinics:

on Tuesday, August 26, at Our Lady’s Catholic Church on Deveaux Street off East Street, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. (Please note change in hours.)

and

on Wednesday, August 27, in the BHS parking lot in Chippingham, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. A mobile clinic will also be traveling the streets on this day.

People who brought their dogs to Carmichael Primary on August 6 or to Our Lady’s on August 12 are asked to please return to one of these clinics for the second booster.
